Anbumalar School

Below is a school which is present near red hills. The school caters to mentally retarded children. The school teaches the children to make hand made crafts and also sells them as products. There are also mentally retarded students who come to the school along with their parents in the morning, learn things and go home in the evening. They even grow their own vegetables for their usage. 

The home has around 15 students who are taken care by the home itself. This home was suggested by one of our colleague Balakrishnan (DI-3 ). Due credits to Sridhar of INODE (DI Validation) who visited the home and got details about the home.

The home authorities requested for helping with the monthly provisions for the home. Though the school was visited and details were collected by October itself, we were not able to cater to their need due to financial constraints at that time. But now, I believe we are in a position to go ahead in this noble cause.

Hence, we would be going ahead and providing rice for around Rs.1000 every month. We have identified a rice mill from where they are already getting their provisions now. We are now approaching the rice mill owner and discussing about the payment modes.

Probably we would start with this new contribution from the next month.
